Solution for expansion joint which consists of a central body made of flexible EPDM and two metal sides. One of the sides acts like a cover plate, hiding the rubber inside. This expansion joint has two different functions, is functional, as it absorbs expands, contracts and is decorative. The flexible EPDM rubber, 20mm width, has a high capacity of movement absorption. Its size and functionality allows it to be installed as a structural joint. Its size and functionality permits its application as structural joint that does not support traffic. This fixation wings have an octagonal die to facilitate the transfer of the adhesive material, securing an optimal installation and useful life. It comes protected by a protective film to ensure their best appearance and functionality once the installation ends. Its main function is avoiding the accumulation of pressings, caused by the expansions contractions of pavement or wall that thermal changes produce. In the other side, the use of this Novojunta permits to offer not only technical, but also decorative solutions, because the central part of EPDM is hidden under the upper section of one of the profile, giving a decorative and functional solution to the big sized joints.
